Meet Our Team
Owner/Artist: Jess Braley
Jess has been tattooing since 2009 and specializes in color tattoos, focusing on cover-ups, new school and neo traditional pieces. She also likes working on watercolor pieces, nature tattoos (color or black and grey realism) and anime/comicbook pieces.
Master artists: Emily Ash and Mike Howard.
Emily has been tattooing since 2010 and specializes in traditional, blackwork, neo traditional and delicate fine line tattoos. Mike came up alongside Em, and loves American Traditional, black and gray and blackwork.
Apprentices: Dave Glass, Chris Soucie, Dan Reineman
Dave, Jess's husband, is an exceptionally gifted artist picking up tattooing as another medium. Chris Soucie is our gifted Traditional artist. Another phenomenal artist, musician and friend, Dan is on his way to being our custom traditional specialist.
Guest artists: Jimmy Mello and Nate Paul
We have three major three-day events a year and our brothers-from-other-mothers’ shop in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Anvil Ink is gracious enough to send us owner Nate Paul, and artist and piercer Jimmy Mello.
